About Crooked Feather Studio
Meet the Artist
Crooked Feather Studio is owned by artist Anna Murfield and is located on her family's 3-acre rural Wisconsin homestead. Inspiration for her work is found in the rolling hills, beautiful sunsets, and wildlife of the area.
A lifelong passion for creating led Anna to The University of Milwaukee to obtain bachelor's degree in fine art with a sub major in art history. This experience drove Anna to become a children's book author, teacher, and passionate painter.
Original Art
Anna creates art in a wide range of mediums, from oil, to collage, all influenced by nature.
Rural Wisconsin Art Prints
Inspiration for original artwork by Anna comes from the natural landscape of Wisconsin. Through the vast fields, forests, and animals there is an abundant supply influence.

Art journals and sketchbooks are an important element to the creative process. Anna uses stickers, stamps, and paper embellishments in her journals that help inspire her original art.
Paint Nite and Classes
Step-by-step instruction make parties great for artists of all ages. All lessons are instructed at a beginner level while giving room for more advanced artists. No painting experience is necessary.
